இலங்கை பாடசாலைகளுக்கு இடையிலான தேசிய மட்ட தமிழ்த்தினப் போட்டியில் தொண்டைமானாறு வீரகத்திப்பிள்ளை மகா வித்தியாலயத்தைச் சேர்ந்த சுதாகரன் சுபாஸ் தனி நடிப்பில் முதலாம் இடத்தை பெற்றுள்ளார்.
அகில இலங்கை பாடசாலைகளுக்கு இடையிலான தேசிய மட்ட தமிழ்த் தின போட்டிகள் நேற்று வெள்ளிக்கிழமை கொழும்பு பம்பலப்பிட்டி இந்துக் கல்லூரியில் நடைபெற்றது.
இதில் தொண்டைமானாறு வீரகத்திப்பிள்ளை மகா வித்தியாலயத்தைச் சேர்ந்த சுதாகரன் சுபாஸ் தனி நடிப்பில் தேசிய மட்ட போட்டியில் முதலாம் இடத்தை பெற்றுள்ளார். இவரை நெறிப்படுத்தியவர் தொண்டைமானாறு வீரகத்திப்பிள்ளை மகா வித்தியாலயத்தின் நாடகமும் அரங்கியலும் ஆசிரியர் திருமதி துகாரதி ஞானச்சந்திரன் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

Please accept our CONGRATULATIONS on this wonderful recognition of your great achievements in the great "STAGE ART" that was made proud by many of our artists at present and in the past. Don't rest on your laurels. Hope you will definitely continue to concentrate in your main stream education that matters a lot in our career and life. You are well aware of the fact that since the major mass destruction in 2009, our community experienced with massive loses to our community's lives, assets and moralities. Also you are well aware of the fact that our own so called prominent politicians and the Govt. aren't that keen in promoting the welfare and education of our children. Instead, they are trying their best to distract our kids' attention well away from education, employment, culture, religion and a millions more by promoting the illegal sales and production of drugs and consumption of those amongst not only the students and other youngsters but also elders’ peninsula wide. Therefore it’s us the oldies' duty to remind you, caution you, advise you in your best interest, to concentrate in your main stream education. We need sports and other entertainment activities but get don't get cheated and distracted by the government's and our own politicians' (except some handful genuine cases) mission to destruct our community's education moralities, religion and employment your future. Any reality in our community's live shouldn't stop the achievements and the great honourable lady, your teacher, Mrs Thuhaarathy Gnanachchandran for her expertise guidance, training and direction for her part in your great achievement. And also for the great Veerahaththipillai High School that you made be proud of you. Make your dedication, enthusiasm and insight are really inspiring towards predominantly in the main stream education and after that in sports and art. Because (although our community is not short of intelligence and capabilities) we are desperately short of high class professionals, genuine politicians and intellectuals to inspire and guide our community towards many more heights in life.
